Moving Forward
Perhaps the most critical element in hiring a real estate professional boils down to how well they are able to negotiate on behalf of the parties. Whether it is multiple offers, low appraisal, or repairs, my office’s practice is to keep every dollar possible on our client’s side of the net sheet.
Proactive communication. We ensure the parties are educated about their next steps in advance so as to prevent frustrating surprises or misunderstandings
Privacy. We ensure privacy between the parties and make sure contact information or sensitive information that does not impact the sale of the house is not shared.
Repair costs. Repairs and improvements make a big impact on the value of the property, however many families in divorce do not have the resources or the emotional bandwidth to manage these things. Therefore, we have implemented a program where repairs can be completed and then paid at the close of escrow.
